Thread Creek Training Philosophy
At Thread Creek Training Group (TCTG), we build training around one simple goal: give your officers tactics they can use the next shift, not the next conference.
Our courses are built on a 30/70 classroom-to-hands-on ratio, so officers spend the majority of their time doing, not just listening. We’ve moved completely away from “death by PowerPoint” and purely theory-based lectures. Instead, we focus on relevant, realistic, and repeatable skills that transfer directly back to your department.
Using scenario-based training with professional role players, we recreate critical incidents as close to real events as possible, while maintaining a controlled, safe training environment. Officers are forced to think, decide, and act under pressure, just as they would on the shift—then immediately debrief and refine their performance.
The result is experience-based learning: your personnel leave with proven tactics, tested decision‑making skills, and increased confidence, not just a certificate and a notebook full of theory.
