Disturbance Control

Extinguishing small and large scale group disturbances within a corrections environment. 24 hour course.

High Risk Transport

Transporting violent or potentially violent inmates through permissive and non-permissive environments. 16 hours for basic course & 32 hours for expanded course.

Responding to an Inmate Fight

Go through the stages of controlling an inmate fight. 8 hour course.

Receiving a Non-Compliant Inmate

Gain control of a non-compliant inmate while ensuring the safety of fellow Officers and security of the facility. 8 hour course.

Cell Extraction

Learn to remove non-compliant inmates from a cell. 16 hours for basic course & 32 hours for expanded course.

Hostage Rescue

Responding to a hostage situation within a Jail, Prison or Detention Center. 40 hour course.

Responding to an Officer Involved Fight

Go through the stages of controlling an Officer involved fight. 8 hour course.

Receiving A Non-Compliant Inmate: 1 Day Course

Thread Creek Training will be teaching an 8-hour course for Receiving a Non-Compliant Inmate that gives students strategies and tactics prioritizing de-escalation, safety, planning, and security.  Students are going to understand the legal and medical requirements surrounding taking an inmate into custody and go through extensive live scenarios with trained actors to strengthen their skills. Attendees will be forced to think outside the box to achieve the most optimal result possible and then deconstruct each situation with a Thread Creek Instructor. The class will be MCOLES accredited CPE.

◈ Understanding when to get medical staff involved
