Thread Creek Training Group is company based out of Michigan, founded in 2023 with the sole purpose to bring the most comprehensive and useful training to our men and women in public service fields. Our instructors are our backbone and thusly are heavily vetted and proven experts in the field and classroom.

Chris Diehl

Chris is the founder of Thread Creek Training Group (TCTG) with 11 years experience as a Corrections Deputy. He is a team leader on the Special Response Team (SRT), a Rescue Diver, and a Defensive tactics instructor. He is also a Taser instructor a Less Lethal munitions instructor, a member of the Honor Guard, a Field Training Officer (FTO), and a Verbal De-escalation instructor. Prior to his time as a Corrections Deputy he was an infantryman in the US Army where he had additional duties as a Drill Sergeant and a combative instructor. While in college at the University of Michigan he competed for the Wolverines as a two year starter in wrestling. Most importantly he is a father of two boys and spends his free time practicing jiu jitsu, coaching wrestling and football, fishing, hunting, camping and hiking with his sons.
